Chmielorz uses art as a means of communication, but also as a form of medicine. Art has been proven to help with mental health issues, that's why we offer you some ways to deal with bad times.
If you're in crisis, or have thoughts of suicide, please don't face it alone. Reach out for help, talk to someone you trust or contact local support lines right now.
If you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency number. (findahelpline)
You matter. Even if it doesn't feel that way right now.
In this section, we'll introduce you to ways to help you cope with mental stress. Some are artistic and are designed to inspire you to do something creative. Others are simply designed to help you calm down and create space for creativity in the first place.
Sometimes you can't say it, but you can feel it. Music lets emotions breathe when silence gets too loud.
Whether you create it or just let it run through your headphones, sound has a way of translating pain into something you can live with.
You don't have to explain it, just listen or make noise until it makes sense.
A brush doesnt rush you. It waits. Painting slows everything down, until the only thing left is moment, breath and what's right in front of you. It's a moment where nothing has to be finished, it just has to exist.
Sometimes healing isn't in words or art, it's in air. Walking through trees, hearing nothing but wind and your own steps, it brings you back to something real. The world keeps moving, but for a moment, you don't have to.
You just exist, and that's enough.
Not every coping mechanism needs momvement.
Sometimes the act of doing nothing, of simply sitting noticing, can feel like starting over.
Stillness isn't emptiness, it's space for whatever comes next.
Not everything works for everyone and that's okay.
What heals one person might not touch another. But trying still matters.
Whenever it's music, paint, words or silence.
It's not about what comes out in the end,
it's about what happens while you're doing it.
The point isn't to create something perfect.
The point is to feel something real.
